About this file

This is a Register of Wage Determinations under the Service Contract Act issued by the U.S. Department of Labor Employment Standards Administration Wage and Hour Division for South Dakota counties of Custer, Meade, and Pennington (Wage Determination No. 2015-5367, Revision 31, effective 5/13/2026).

The document establishes prevailing wage rates across 100+ occupation classifications spanning administrative support, accounting, customer service, data entry, clerical, automotive service, food preparation, furniture maintenance and repair, general services and support, health occupations, information and arts, information technology, instructional occupations, laundry and pressing, machine tool operations, materials handling and packing, mechanics and maintenance and repair, personal needs, plant and system operations, protective service, recreation, stevedoring/longshoreman, technical, and transportation/mobile equipment operation occupations. Wage rates range from $12.78 per hour (Child Care Attendant) to $50.38 per hour (Maintenance Test Pilot and Air Crew Training Instructor positions), with most positions falling between $15–$30 per hour. All listed occupations receive fringe benefits of $5.55 per hour (up to 40 hours weekly or $222 weekly) or alternatively $5.89 per hour under Executive Order 13786 ($283.60 weekly). The determination includes footnoted exemptions for Computer Systems Analysts and Computer Programmers earning at least $27.63 hourly, Air Traffic Controllers with night and Sunday pay differentials, and hazardous duty differentials of 4–8 percent applicable to ordnance and explosives work. Employees are entitled to a minimum of 11 paid holidays annually, vacation accrual beginning after one year of service, and uniform allowances where required. The conformance process for unlisted occupations requires contractor submission of proposed classifications and rates to the contracting officer for review and Wage and Hour Division approval within 30 days.
