1) Question: Attachment 3 - Schedule of Services is not provided on Sam.gov. I assume this attachment contains the requested quantities of gases that Aberdeen intends to purchase, as there is no quantity information provided in any of the other attachments.

a. Answer: Schedule of supply added and language corrected to supply in description. The exact quantities of each to be purchased are unknown and will vary based on mission requirements. The Government plans to establish a single Not To Exceed (NTE) contract line item at the Government’s discretion for the supply of welding and industrial gases. At this time, the estimated ceiling per year is $20,000.00.

2) Question: Is the end user aware that not all gases are available in 125cf cylinders?

a. Answer: Yes

3) Question: Can the government provide clarity on the 800L dewars - assuming these would require onsite filling via microbulk but needs to be stated in SOW / Schedule

a. Answer: Our facility does not utilize 800 Liter dewars. Error in original solicitation. We use 200L dewars for Liquid Oxygen, 200L dewars for Liquid Nitrogen, and 230L dewars for liquid Argon.

4) Question: Can you provide the grades of gas required?

a. Answer: Our requirement is for laboratory and industrial grade gases used to operate common laboratory and industrial instruments such as 3D Printers, Laser Cutters, and welding equipment.

5) Question: Can you provide the mix percentages and components on tri-mix?

a. Answer: Tri Gas is stated in the PWS (60% Helium, 35% Nitrogen, 5% Carbon Dioxide)

6) Question: Can you provide the percentages on helium mix?

a. Answer: Helium mix refers to common Helium mixtures used in Welding such as 75% Helium, 25% Carbon Dioxide.

7) Question: Need percentages on argon mix?

8) Question: Is the end user able to provide a Medical License on MedOx and Nitrous?

a. Answer: No. Nitrous Oxide is not required. This is a relic of a previous contract. Please ignore.

9) Question: Please provide volumes to accurately quote

a. Answer: Examples for Estimating Purposes.

i. Liquid Argon – 230L Dewar

ii. Liquid Nitrogen – 200L Dewar

iii. Liquid Oxygen – 200L Dewar

iv. Tri Gass – 150 CF

v. Helium – 150 CF

vi. Oxygen – 150 CF

vii. Hydrogen – 150 CF

viii. Argon Mixture – 150 CF

ix. Helium Mixture – 150 CF

x. Carbon Dioxide – 150 CF

xi. Nitrogen – 150 CF

xii. Instrument Air – 150 CF

xiii. Propane – 145 CF

xiv. Acetylene – 145 CF

10) Question: If the liquid nitrogen and oxygen are stored in bulk tanks at 800 liters, do you own your tanks, will the current contractor be leaving theirs, or would you need them installed by us?

a. Answer: We do not have utilize 800 Liter tanks here and will not require them to be installed by the contractor. Error in original solicitation.
