About this file

This document contains a series of Questions and Answers related to a federal contract opportunity for pre-hospital patient monitors and defibrillators.

The key details are:

  • The required monitors must have both manual and AED modes, and must have FDA clearance for sale and use in the U.S. No devices with open FDA recalls can be submitted.
  • The requirement is for two separate pieces - one for monitoring and one for electrical therapy. The monitor must have a maintenance-free battery with a 10.75-hour capacity, and an integrated video laryngoscope.
  • The evaluation will be based on the total proposed price, and past performance will be evaluated using PIEE. The 3-year warranty is a requirement, not an evaluation factor.
  • The solicitation is for a firm fixed price supply of two cardiac monitors with accessories, brand name or equal to the Tempus Pro Monitor/defibrillators, for Womack Army Medical Center. The applicable NAICS code is 334510 - Electromedical and Electrotherapeutic Apparatus Manufacturing.
