Questions and Answers

1) Sysmex mistakenly transposed the AMR information for the RBC and WBC when providing to the lab- the AMR ranges should be >5,000/uL for WBC and >10,000/uL for RBCs. Would the government consider changing this requirement to reflect the AMRs provided here for requirements #14 & #15 (pasted below for reference) or finding the true AMR listed above to be acceptable?

SOW: 14. To reduce offline dilutions and ensure accuracy of results, preferred urine particle counting solution should provide an RBC Analytical Measurement Range >

5,000/uL.

15. To reduce offline dilutions and ensure accuracy of results, preferred urine particle counting solution should provide a WBC Analytical Measurement Range >10,000/uL.

A) Yes, the Government considers this change acceptable.

2) SOW Requirement #27 refers to “redundancy” and “two analyzers”. Understanding we have more than one analyzer that makes up an automated system- can the Government please confirm that this requirement is for only 1 (one) automated urinalysis system that performs

Urine Chem & Microscopic testing?

A) Yes, that assumption is correct. It is only one automated urinalysis system.

3) The submission instructions require a SF 1449 and there was not one included with the RFP-can you please advise is this is required and if so, please provide?

A) The form provided is a 1449 Form no additional information is needed.

4) The below language requests the submission be submitted in 3 (three) separate parts but only

2 (two) parts are listed- can you please advise how you would like this submitted?

A) An Amendment will be posted to state two parts

5) Lastly, given the pending items, would the Government please consider an extension to the due date of this response to May 31st?

A) The government will not be giving an extension as the proposal will be due on May

31st 2024.
