SUBJECT: Part 2 Questions and Answers for W91YTZ21Q0015

Question: We would like some clarification around some language in the SOW. During the contract period, should the repair record of any laboratory equipment reflect a downtime of more than 72 hours in one calendar month or more than 6 instances in one calendar year, a determination will be made by the COR to replace the initial laboratory equipment with new equipment. We will be providing 2 instruments as a solution for the lab. Can we interpret this to mean that both instruments would need to be down for 72 hours? Also, does the 6 instances refer to any down time per instrument in one calendar year?

Answer: This refers to one instrument (not both) reflecting a downtime of more than 72 hours in one calendar month or more than 6 instances due to instrumentation failure in any form in one calendar year.
