Quality Assurance procedures established by the MTF shall be used for continuous monitoring. Other performance evaluation factors will be monitored that are not quantified by numerical measurements which include: Contractor providing personnel not meeting the minimum qualification standards; inappropriate prescriptions; patient customer service comments; Contractor relationship with hospital staff/Government contracting personnel; compliance with hospital healthcare policies and procedures.

1.5.3 Recognized Holidays: The following is a list of legal federal holidays. Any of the federal holidays falling on a Saturday will be observed on the preceding Friday. Holidays falling on a Sunday will be observed on the following Monday.

1.5.3.2 The contractors shall report to work as scheduled during emergencies, disasters, or during adverse weather conditions which does not result in installation/facility closure. In the instance where the Government supervisor directs the provider to remain on duty in excess of their scheduled shift due to an unforeseen emergency or to complete patient treatment where lack of continuity of care would otherwise jeopardize patient health, the provider shall remain on duty. Leave is classified as both annual, vacation or sick leave. Leave shall be taken in one (1) day increments and shall not exceed ten (10) consecutive work days excluding weekends. In order to ensure that customer’s access to care is not limited due to manning, timing of leave shall be coordinated with supervisor as much as possible at least 15 days in advance. Unscheduled absences shall be called into supervisor by the contract provider within the first two (2) hours of each duty day that he/she is unable to report to work.

1.5.4.5. Non-paid days: The government will not be required to pay for unscheduled absences (if it is out of their authorized leave) or days where the contractor does not perform services (i.e. waiting for replacement contractor personnel to arrive). The contractors shall immediately report any lost or stolen badges to the COR. The contractor is responsible for absences of contractors due to expired identification and access documents. Such absences shall not relieve the Contractor of its obligation to perform the healthcare services required under this contract. The Contractor will only be paid for services actually performed and shall not bill the Government during the contractors’ absence. The contractors shall turn in all identification badges to the COR upon termination of their services under this contract.

1.5.7.3 Vehicle Registration: The MTFs are located on restricted access military installations. However, the contractors may be required to provide testimony or disposition in cases of due process action. At the close of each work period, government facilities, equipment, and materials shall be secured.

1.5.7.4.1 Contractors are advised that the 51st Medical Group Commander has placed restrictions on the smoking of tobacco products in and around facilities.
