Vendor Q&A

1. Regarding end caps on the directories, regulatory signs, and service signs, the photos provided show an aluminum end cap, but the SOW calls for acrylic end caps, can you confirm which is required? Or can we choose so long as other technical requirements are met?

The intent is to match the existing signs for which photos are provided in Attachment 2 Bldg 52 and 119 Signage Graphic Spec and Photos. For those signs that show aluminum endcaps in Attachment 2, matching aluminum endcaps are required.

2. Regarding the wayfinding sign E - does this correspond to the "Changeable Message Strip Signs" in your SOW?

Signs A1, B3, and D have interchangeable message strip inserts printed on paper card stock. It is expected that spare cardstock and the appropriate software to print replacement inserts be provided so that we as the user can print out as sections move around or get renamed. It is not expected that spare acrylic strips be provided for the Wayfinding signs E.

3. "01. First Article - Sign A1 Room ID" and "02. Sign A1 Room Identification Sign" the same type of sign for a total of 167 signs?

yes - the first article is the same as the "A1" signs, so there are a total of 167 of them

4. For "Sign B3 Regulatory Sign", what dimension is the paper insert?

B3 Regulatory Sign: 11"W X 12.5 " H (this is visible insert only, so actual cardstock will be slightly larger)

5. For "Sign D Directory", do you have dimensions on each of the paper inserts? On the photo it looks like the right insert is smaller than the left one.

Sign D Directory:

Right side map 19"W X 28.5"H Left side Key 14.5"W X 28.5"H (Again, this is visible insert only, so actual cardstock will be slightly larger)
