Backflow preventors should be installed when Government water systems are used by the Contractor.
c. Completion of Work: The contractor shall commence installation within 30 days after receipt of order. Lounge, south central hallway of the Lewis and Clark Center on Fort Leavenworth, and the installation of new LED track lighting IAW common industry standards. The existing track is approximately 120’ in length. To ensure adequate light coverage, there should be two lamp fixtures per commissioned oil painting. There are 17 commissioned oil paintings in the art gallery. The lamp heads must swivel and rotate for maximum lighting coverage.
b. The Contractor shall use existing mounting sites in the walls if practical in order to preclude or avoid the need to repaint the walls. If the contractor cannot use existing mounting sites, then the contractor shall patch all holes in the surface, sand, and repaint to match the existing wall. Coverage shall be uniform from the existing wood ledge up to the shadow line approximately 9’ above the ledge.
c. The contractor must coordinate with the government Point of Contact for vehicle deliveries. There are only two bay doors at the loading dock, and a single freight elevator in the building. The freight elevator has a maximum door width of 48”, and a maximum load capacity of 4500 pounds. All delivery vehicles must be off-loaded in an expeditious manner, and then moved from the loading dock.
d. In no way will the contractor be permitted to drop and leave a trailer at the loading dock. The government shall furnish the contractor sufficient space within the building to stage product. The contractor may, with prior coordination with the government, spot one dumpster at the work site at an agreed upon location that does not restrict access to the loading docks.
