A. Product Specification for Single Sign-on Authentication and Authorization System Requirements. This requirement is for an UNCLASSIFIED single sign-on authentication and authorization system that will operate in a consortia environment and will work with the Discovery Program and Integrated Library Systems of the federated Army University (ArmyU) Library Enterprise System. The ArmyU Library Enterprise System is combining 13 stand-alone libraries (three of which are combined academic and public libraries) into a unified Library Management Services (LMS) platform.
B. Characteristics:
1) Vendor must provide a single sign-on authentication and authorization system (e.g., Open Athens, EZProxy, Central Authentication Service (CAS 2) and or Shibboleth) as a SaaS capable of being hosted on the TRADOC Commercial Cloud.
2) System must support integration with existing identity stores such as SirsiDynix (Symphony, Horizon, Unicorn), Innovative (Sierra, Millennium Classic, Virtua, Polaris), OCLC (WMS, SISIS), ExLibris (Alma, Aleph, Voyager), and Library World, Active Directory, and Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP). Vendor must supply a list of the supported identity stores and explain how their authentication system would interact with these identity stores from the listed vendors and the discovery program.
