Answers regarding Jordan FMS - Market Research for CONUS Cyber Training
Q: “Can you confirm the incumbent for the above effort? If so, could you please provide the incumbent name as well as the contract number?”
A: “This training isn’t a direct follow-on to an existing contract, there is no incumbent.”
Q: “MGT415 - A Practical Introduction to Cyber Security Risk Management (Qty: 1 course) is no longer available. Is there a course from the SANS new Leadership course line that should replace this title?”
A: “The recommend alternative training course is LDR419: Performing A Cybersecurity Risk Assessment program. Or Please submit any recommended alternate courses in your response.”
Q: “The document specifies that the training should be held at a recognized SANS Institute location. SANS holds many of their courses at public locations and virtually. Would these options, as long as a SANS official course, be approved?”
A: “No, the Customer is specifically requesting a private course conducted at a SANS institute.”
Q: “There is a requirement to deliver the training following a Train-the-Trainer (T3) approach. It is our understanding that SANS copyrights all their materials and requires that all SANS training be delivered by authorized instructors internal to SANS. We are assuming that any SANS training will need to adhere to SANS policies. Please confirm.”
A: “Noted, no issues with the assumption.”
