W9133L22Q3001 – Questions and Answers Q1: The SF 1449 attached to the notice cannot be edited. Can an editable copy be provided?

The SF1449 does not need to be filled out; the offeror can submit pricing data in their own format as long as the CLINs are described and broken down. If the offeror has completed all of the reps and certs at SAM.Gov, they can provide this printout as long as their certs completely supplant the Full Text Provision 52.212-3.

Q2: The Purchase description shows both conference tables as being rectangular, but the office layout drawing shows the conference table in the Vice Chief's office to be a (oval). What is the intent of this requirement?

The requirement is meant to have the Chief’s office conference table as rectangle and the Vice Chief’s office conference table as oval. The Purchase Description has been amended to reflect as much.

Q3: The below notes are a little confusing with the drawing showing how they want them to go together. A U configuration like they have it drawn with pedestals on left and right ends of both desk units cannot be done as drawn. Can you shed some light on this?

A double pedestal unit with drawers or doors (on each side) would not have sufficient room to perform. You would generally have availability of the “L” unit of the desk having pedestals on each side and then the credenza unit making up the additional storage for the U. Can you please confirm/answer the above question (s)?

This was intentional. To clarify, the intent is to give the VCNGB the flexibility to make it a separate desk (see below) if needed. He currently has it like that, and it does not look as if the pieces were made to be together. It is intended for the Chief’s furniture to be the same in this regard.
