About this file

This is Amendment 0001 to Solicitation W912WJ26QA158, issued by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, New England District (W2SD ENDIST NEW ENGLAND) on August 13, 2026. The amendment provides responses to five industry questions regarding a forest management planning project.

The solicitation closing date remains August 18, 2026 at 2:00 PM Eastern. Key technical clarifications provided include: (1) contractors may use their own forest management plan template with no required template specified; (2) the required inventory data collection method is variable radius point sampling using either a 15 or 20 Basal Area Factor (BAF) prism; (3) the allowable error tolerance is 10% at a 95% confidence limit for cruise statistics; (4) climate change data must comply with current State of Massachusetts standards; and (5) the pre-planned systematic grid must utilize variable radius point sampling with either a 15 or 20 BAF prism. All other terms and conditions of the original solicitation remain unchanged. Offers must acknowledge receipt of this amendment prior to the closing deadline through one of three methods: completing and returning the amendment form, acknowledging receipt on each offer copy, or submitting separate written communication referencing the solicitation and amendment numbers.
