About this file
This is Standard Form 30 Amendment 0001 to Solicitation W912WJ26QA063, issued by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), New England District, on February 27, 2026. The amendment is necessary to provide responses to industry questions regarding the solicitation. The solicitation closing date remains March 5, 2026 at 2:00 PM Eastern Time, and the closure is not extended. All other terms and conditions of the original solicitation remain unchanged.
The amendment addresses eight industry questions and corresponding government responses covering operational and technical requirements. Key clarifications include: remote-controlled mowers are permitted on slopes if they meet solicitation specifications; the designated Level 3 Site Safety and Health Officer (SSHO) may serve as one of the two required First Aid and CPR-certified employees; objective performance thresholds for grass height are included in Section 7 (Service Requirements); the same-day completion requirement applies to specific work areas as defined in the solicitation, with all areas to be completed weekly and a work schedule submitted to the Technical Point of Contact (TPOC); slope restrictions for standard commercial rotary mowers follow manufacturer instructions; and post-award submittals are addressed in Sections 5 (Safety Requirements), 7 (Pre-Work Conference), and 8 (Submittals). Offerors must acknowledge receipt of this amendment prior to the submission deadline through completion of amendment items, acknowledgment on each offer copy, or separate written communication referencing the solicitation and amendment numbers.
