About this file

This document is an Amendment (0002) to Solicitation W912WJ25Q0062 for Trash and Recycling Services at the Cape Cod Canal project. The amendment provides responses to industry questions and introduces a revised Performance Work Statement. Key details include the requirement for a contractor to provide dumpster services at five recreation areas (Bourne, Cape Cod Canal Field Office, Midway, Sagamore, and Sandcatcher) involving 10-yard front load trash and recycling dumpsters with lids. Service frequencies are twice weekly for trash and twice monthly for recycling, with specific schedules for each location during the base year (Contract Award - 28 February 2026) and a potential option year (1 March 2026 - 28 February 2027).

The solicitation is set aside for small businesses under NAICS code 562111 with a $47 million size standard. The previous contract was held by Cavossa Disposal Corp with a total contract amount of $90,285. Contractors must provide all necessary equipment, labor, and transportation to service dumpsters, conforming to federal, state, and local regulations. All vendors must have an active SAM.gov registration. The solicitation closing remains 26 March 2025 at 2:00 PM Eastern, and the work is to be performed between 7:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. at various Cape Cod Canal project locations in Massachusetts.
