SUMMARY OF CHANGES
SECTION SF 30 - BLOCK 14 CONTINUATION PAGE
The following have been modified:
REQUEST FOR INFORMATION
QUESTION 1: If there is an incumbent, can the government please provide the most recent contract award number & contract value?
RESPONSE 1: There is not an incumbent for this project.
QUESTION 2: Is OSHA 30 a requirement for this project?
RESPONSE 2: OSHA 30 is not a requirement for this work.
QUESTION 3: Does this requirement fall under Bacon Davis?
RESPONSE 3: No, the requirement is a service. Please refer to the wage determinations
No. 2015-4027 listed in the solicitation.
QUESTION 4: The solicitation states the footing of the building to be brought to 6” underground and the rest to be left and covered over, is that a requirement or a minimum? Could the entire footing be removed?
RESPONSE 4: The 6” is the minimum. The entire footing may be removed as long as the depth would not require an excavation and trenching plan and the contractor understands that additional material would be required to match the existing elevation. The cost of material shall be included in the vendor’s quote and will not be considered separately by the Government.
QUESTION 5: The project details state that we will need a site-specific Silica
Compliance Plan. We will be hammering and breaking the concrete vs. saw cutting, so there will be less exposure. What is the threshold for the silica exposure? Or does it matter? As long as we are working with the concrete, do we have to provide the plan?
RESPONSE 5: A Silica Control plan is required. There is not a threshold for exposure limits for this work.
