QUESTION 10: Due to weather constraints, would the buildings be opened, or closed for cleaning? By weather constraints, I mean, when there is a snowstorm, for instance, and the schools are closed.
RESPONSE 10: Office closures due to inclement weather are at the discretion of the individual office's on-site staff who by courtesy should notify cleaning staff and/or TPOC that no one will be in office that day. TPOC will pass on the message to contract holder if they receive notification. Should a cleaner feel unsafe to commute to a location on a scheduled service date due to weather, Contactors are to notify the TPOC prior to that day’s scheduled visit start time to request a temporary change in schedule. If unable to provide an alternative service date within the same week on a business day, there are no make-up days. Procedure on if a cleaner reports to a location and is unable to access after 30 minutes of scheduled service start time, is defined in the Performance Work Statement in Sections 3. Schedule and 17. Payment.
