REQUEST FOR INFORMATION
Question 1: The requested amount of 8ft strip fixtures to be installed is 31, but the existing amount of 8ft strip fixtures is only 9. Where will these additional strip fixtures be installed?
Answer: Please see the revised Statement of Work. Total existing light fixtures have been updated to 135 and existing locations of all of these have been identified. All 135 are to be replaced in the current locations.
Question 2: Would leaving the light fixtures in place and just using LED replacement bulbs be an option?
Answer: No, existing fixtures should be replaced, including bulbs.
Question 3: Do all of the light fixtures have to be made in the USA? Lead time for some of the fixtures are into february before we could get our hands on them. Is this an issue with the start and finish deadline?
Answer: All products must comply with Buy America. The Period of Performance has been revised to 150 days after Notice to Proceed.
Question 4: Could we be able to also work on weekends for this project?
Answer: No, hours are from 7:00- 3:30pm Monday through Friday. Work outside of these hours must be coordinated with and approved by the Techincal Point of Contact. There is no guarantee that staff will be available or permitted to work on weekends to accommodate the awarded Contractor.
Question 5: Also I noticed the specs for the lights if the lumen count is within 200 lumen would that be acceptable?
Answer: The specifications identify the minimum lumens required. Lower lumens are not acceptable.
Question 6: Can ceiling heights be provided on the rooms?
Answer: Ceiling heights are as follows:
Tully Park Office: Drop ceilings, 8 ft
Sign Shop: 11 ft

Answer: The contractor is able to have fixtures/bulbs delivered to the site, however, the Contractor must be on site to receive and place fixtures/bulbs in the locations in which they are to be installed. The Government will not accept delivery of fixtures/bulbs for the Contractor, and there is not space available to store all 135 fixtures/bulbs in one location.
Question 8: Is a payment bond required?
Answer: A payment bond is required if the awarded Purchase Order is over $35,000. Payment bond will be required to be submitted within 10 days of contract award.
