Pre-Qual RFI #3
1. With respect to the prequalification of sources announcement for Construction of a new Compound Semiconductor Lab/Microsystem Integration Facility for MIT Lincoln Labs will the Title II construction oversight be done internally by the District or will this be part of or separate from this opportunity?
GOVERNMENT RESPONSE:
Title II Services, also referred to as Construction Phase Services (CPS), including construction oversight and submittal reviews, will likely be accomplished utilizing a combination of in-house (District) resources and a separate “Construction Phase Services “contract (external resources).
If external resources or a combination of District and external resources are used for CPS, both will likely involve an extension of the Designer of Record (DOR) responsibilities.
