Request for Information Amendment 0001 to W912WJ20R0021
SB General AE IDIQ
This amendment is issued to provide responses to Requests for Information (RFIs) and update the synopsis.
1. As we understand, USACE is requesting that for professional engineers or professional geologists, the firm must provide licensed personnel registered in one of the six New England states. If our firm holds licensed PEs (geotechnical, H&H, etc.) in other states in NAD and can easily obtain licensure by reciprocity upon contract, will that be acceptable to the district?
GOVERNMENT RESPONSE:
We will consider a statement indicating ability to obtain reciprocal licensure within 6 months of selection to demonstrate applicable professional registration.
2. For inspections, investigations, and/or fieldwork, will a licensed PE or PG be required to perform all of the work on-site, or can junior staff perform the work under the guidance of a PE or PG?
GOVERNMENT RESPONSE:
Requirements for who can provide field oversight will be specified in individual task orders.
3. Do you expect any task orders or services that have a role for staff who do not hold a PE or PG (i.e. junior engineer/EIT or geologist)?
GOVERNMENT RESPONSE:
It is expected that there will be the need for junior staff who are not yet licensed to perform work under this indefinite delivery contract.
