About this file

This document contains questions and answers regarding potential federal contract opportunity W912TF23Q0018. The New Hampshire National Guard is seeking market research on downdraft tables and fume extractors made by Diversitech. Specifically, the fume extractor would work alongside but not connect directly to the downdraft table, hovering over workspaces to remove harmful chemicals and metals produced during welding and grinding. Preferably, offerors could meet the requirements for both a downdraft table and fume extractor through a single award if a formal solicitation is issued.

Q&A

27 July 2023

Q1: What is the Brand and Model equipment the customer will be using these with? What equipment are they connecting the Fume Extractor to (if anything)?

A1: The USPFO for NH is using Diversitech equipment as a basis for market research. The company provides both the downdraft table and fume extractor that meets the requirements of the CSMS. The fume extractor will work in conjunction with the downdraft table but does not connect. It essentially hovers over the workspace sucking up the harmful chemicals, metals, etc. produced during certain tasks such as welding and grinding.

Q2: Are you seeking sources only that can provide BOTH CLIN items?

A2: The New Hampshire National Guard prefers to source the requirement from offerors who can meet both CLINS if a formal solicitation gets issued. The Government anticipates a potential RFQ would result in a single award.
