This is a presentation from an Industry Day forum held on January 30, 2025, for a new fire station construction project at Youngstown Air Reserve Station in Ohio. The presentation outlines an upcoming unrestricted Design-Bid-Build Invitation for Bid (IFB) opportunity from the US Army Corps of Engineers Louisville District.

The project involves constructing a new 24,500 square foot fire station, including demolition of existing Building 415. The facility will feature drive-through bays for Aircraft Rescue and Firefighting vehicles and sleeping quarters for 22 personnel. The estimated construction cost is between $10M-$25M with a 790-calendar day performance period. Key dates include advertisement in February/March 2025, pre-bid site visit in March 2025, proposals due April 2025, with award planned for May 2025 and construction completion in April 2027. The procurement will use electronic bid submission through PIEE, requires registration in SAM.gov, and large business offerors must submit small business subcontracting plans. Questions must be submitted through ProjNet, and the solicitation number will begin with "W912QR."
