About this file

This solicitation notice provides details for an upcoming federal contract opportunity to replace underground storage tanks at Wright Patterson Air Force Base in Ohio. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Louisville District will issue a request for proposal to remove seventeen existing single-walled fuel storage tanks totaling 148,000 gallons and install seventeen double-walled tanks with new piping, controls and a relocated fuel farm. The fuel farm will include one 25,000 gallon tank, three 20,000 gallon tanks, smaller tanks down to 2,500 gallons, and a replacement 2,000 gallon liquid propane tank. An existing 500 square foot manifold building and associated infrastructure will also be replaced. The firm fixed price contract is estimated at $10-25 million and must be completed within 500 calendar days while maintaining partial use of the existing fuel farm. The NAICS code is 237120 and there is no set-aside. Proposals will be evaluated on a best value tradeoff basis considering past performance, technical, small business participation, and price. The government intends to award without discussions but reserves the right to conduct discussions if deemed necessary.
