About this file

This document contains the Questions and Responses related to the federal contract opportunity for the BEJ Overlook Fence Installation project. The solicitation requests quotes for installing a fence overlooking the B. Everett Jordan Dam in Moncure, North Carolina. The government will award the contract to the responsible offeror whose technically acceptable offer is the lowest priced. Offerors must submit both a Price Quote and Technical Proposal electronically by the closing date. The current wooden fence will be completely removed, except for the in-ground concrete, and replaced with a new fence system consisting of American Precast Concrete Woodcrete Ranch Rails. New holes may be required, as the existing fence post spacing may not align. Temporary staging areas will be available for overnight storage of equipment and materials. The contractor will not be responsible for any permitting requirements. No hardware is required per the manufacturer specifications for this fence type.
