8.10.2. To all bow ramp surfaces, apply one (1) overall coat of Hempel Hempadur 4588, light gray, or equal, for a

DFT of 6-8 mils.

8.10.3. To all bow ramp surfaces, with the exception of the bow ramp top plate, apply one (1) coat of Hempel

Hempathane 5595, haze gray, color 26270, or equal, for a DFT of 2-3 mils.

8.10.4. To all light gray bow ramp top plate surfaces, apply one (1) coat of Hempel Hempadur 4588, haze gray, color 26270, or equal, for a DFT of 5-7 mils.

8.11. TRANSDUCERS CLEANING:

8.11.1. After application of anti-fouling paint, remove protective covering; each transducer face shall be hand cleaned free of all paint and foreign matter.

8.11.2. COR (or on-site designee) will inspect each transducer and skipper speed log facing material for condition of material and satisfactory cleaning.

8.12. BOW THRUSTER REINSTALLATION:

8.12.1. Reinstall bow thruster in well using new gasket as specified in references. Replace missing and defective securements.

8.12.2. Reconnect all mechanical, hydraulic and electrical connections. Replace missing, defective and incorrect

8.12.3. Prove installation and operation satisfactory as required by the "Trials and Tests" item of this specification.

8.13. BOW RAMP RE-INSTALLATION:

8.13.1. Clean and inspect bow ramp hinge pins for damage, deterioration and corrosion.

8.13.2. Additional work and renewals shall be performed as authorized by the Contracting Officer.

8.13.3. Reinstall bow ramp, bow ramp chains, wildcats to the vessel.

8.13.4. Hull Markings: Strike in the vessel's load line and draft markings as original with white or black Hempel

Hempathane 5595, or equal, for a DFT of 2-3 mils.

8.14. VESSEL UNDOCKING:

8.14.1. A minimum drying period of 24 hours, preferably longer, is necessary between final coat of anti-fouling paint and undocking to ensure solvent release.

8.14.2. Undock the vessel within 30 days after application of final coat of anti-fouling paint.
