1. To what extent do we open and inspect? This is an overhaul of which inspection during process of overhaul is typical. Open bottom end or Top end or front and rear gear train? Detail inspection can take just as much time as an overhaul. TOTAL OVERHAUL / Everything

2. To what extent do we paint? Do we paint only the new installed parts? Everything

3. Will USACE supply all engine fuel, air, oil filters and engine oil along with engine coolant product or is this contractor supply? Everything will be provided, except for Coolant (25 gallons)

4. This unit has balance shaft bushings not called out in SOW, would USACE like these balance shaft bushings replaced as well? YES

5. Would USACE like all new coolant and fuel hoses replaced? NO

6. On fuel, would engine mounted hand priming pump be replaced? IF NEEDED

7. Exhaust manifold studs seize and it typical require replace meter, should contractors included this? YES

8. With this being basically a zero (0) overhaul would you like a new engine hour meter? NO

9. Is engine space plate replacement really needed? This is a steel plate not aluminum? YES

10. Would USACE like all new engine crankcase breather replaced? NO

11. The expensive fee per technician for background checks should be addressed. Will USACE cover cost associated with Pre-screen candidates using E-Verify Program? NO / E-Verify is a free service (https://www.e-verify.gov/)

12. WAGE DETERMINATIONS, would USACE classify this under mechanic, mechanic helper or electrician, journeyman electrician.....etc.? The Government will not direct the Contractor on how to classify their employees.

13. Who is responsible for disposal of waste oil and coolant? USACE

14. Who is responsible for cleaning bilges after Overhauls? CONTRACTOR

15. Rear Seal and such require engine block movement. Is there lifting pads in place of the engine and generator alternator end? YES

16. Is there any interferences (piping, decking, exhaust, lighting, etc.) surrounding or above the units? JUST THE

EXHAUST

17. Is there any interferences surrounding or above the units that the contractor is responsible for removal and replacement? JUST EXHAUST

18. Is there any "no cost" to contractor crane support dockside or on vessel if required to load or unload parts, tools, rigging etc.? NO

19. Is there any restriction restroom onboard or dockside to where the contractor is responsible for providing temporary port-o-potty? NO

20. If contractor is supply coolant for each engine, what is the coolant capacity for each gen engine circuit? 25 gallons / engine
