About this file
This federal contract opportunity solicitation seeks design-build proposals for repairing Building 324 at Nellis Air Force Base in Nevada. The required scope of work includes demolishing walls, creating new partitions, replacing building finishes and utility systems, installing new fire suppression and detection, and providing seismic mitigation. Interested women-owned small businesses must be able to complete the project within 540 calendar days of receiving notice to proceed. The North American Industry Classification for this requirement is Commercial and Institutional Building Construction. The estimated value ranges from $5 million to $10 million. The selection process will follow the Two-Phase Design-Build procedure outlined in the Federal Acquisition Regulation. The government intends to award a firm fixed-price construction contract to the best-valued proposal submitted by the Phase 1 shortlist of up to five highly qualified offerors.
