Q1. Is this position only open to current/past contractors?
R1. No. All interested parties may respond to the Request for Quote.
Q2. Is the requirement to work two Saturdays per month fixed or variable?
R2. See paragraph 5.4.1. of the PWS. – Variable, “…to include up to two (2) Saturdays in a month…”
Q3. Is the position new without handover notes/training or will on job training be given?
R3. While this is a new position, it is expected that the contractor have the requisite skills to independently teach. However, orientation/guidance/OJT will be provided by the FAPM.
Q4. The "Past Performance Questionnaire" includes this field: "Explain in detail why you believe the project presented is relevant to the work described in this solicitation" Can you please clarify what presented project the question is referring to? Is this question asking the applicant to explain why any work performed under past contracts is relevant to the current solicitation for ACS Prevention Education Coordinator?
R4. Yes. Also, please see FAR 52.212-2 Evaluation—Commercial Items (Oct 2014), 2. EVALUATION APPROACH, d. FACTOR III - PAST PERFORMANCE of the Solicitation.
Q5. I don't see any start date for the contract. Would this be something that would be worked out upon awarding the contract?
R5. Please see DELIVERY INFORMATION, CLIN 0001.
Q6. I want to make sure that I'm reading the instructions for submission correctly: the solicitation bid CAN be submitted, electronically, through email without the need to deliver anything further to your office. Alternatively, the offer can be delivered to your office on a DVD/CD. Is that correct?
R6. Correct.
Q7. I was reviewing the effort for Prevention Education Coordinator for the USAG, Italy-Vicenza community. I was hoping you might be able to inform me if this is a new effort or if there was a previous contractor that performed similar requirements in the past? If the latter, would you be able to inform me of the: Contractor Name; Contract #; Value; Expiration Date
R7. This is a new requirement.
Q8. Can you please tell me if this is a new requirement? If not, who is the incumbent, and what is the contract number?
R8. See R7. above.
