It is designed to provide an effective surveillance method of monitoring Contractor performance for each listed objective on the Performance Requirement
Summary (PRS) in this maintenance contract. The QASP provides a systematic method to evaluate the services the Contractor is required to furnish. This QASP is based on the premise the government desires to maintain a quality standard in operating, maintaining, and repairing facilities and that this service contract to provide the service is the best means of achieving that objective. The Contractor, and not the government, is responsible for management and quality control actions to meet the term of the contract. Once the QC program is approved, careful application of the process and standards in the remainder of this document will ensure a robust Quality
Assurance (QA) program.
The Government’s COR will utilize random checks to monitor Contractor’s performance. Only the COR is allowed to approve work unless specified otherwise within this document. Recurring inspections will be verified and checked IAW Contractor’s approved inspection plan. Contractor’s performance of this contract will be measured on the required tasks and Industry
Standards. Contractor’s performance of these tasks will be documented on a past-performance report card with strict attention being paid to Contractor’s performance that exceed or fail to meet the standard. The Contractor will be afforded the opportunity to document its reasons for failure to meet the standard on the past-performance report card and explain what measures were taken by the Contractor to rectify problems and measures taken to prevent recurrence of failed standards.
See Attachment E for Listing of QASP standards:
