About this file
This document is a detailed technical specification for two fully tracked tractors with a hydraulic front mulching attachment, intended for procurement by the U.S. Army at USAG Ansbach locations. The tractors must have a minimum 190 hp diesel engine meeting Tier 4 Final emissions standards, an ergonomic cab with safety features like rollover protection, 360-degree camera system, and heavy-duty cooling capabilities. Key specifications include a maximum weight of 9.2 tons, ability to operate on slopes up to 45 degrees, minimum ground speed of 8 km/h, and steel tracks at least 450 mm wide.
The mulching attachment requires specific technical capabilities, including a variable axial piston motor, rotor diameter of at least 450 mm, working width of 1,900 mm, and 40 additional spare tool flails. Delivery requirements include functional equipment, on-site training in German at Katterbach Kaserne and Storck Barracks, with one tractor delivered to each location. The contractor must provide comprehensive documentation in German and English, including operator and maintenance manuals, and offer a minimum 12-month warranty with spare parts availability guaranteed for 10 years.
