TANK DIVISION

The pneumatically moveable partition wall divides the tank into water‐ and sludge compartments. The drag piston can be locked from outside via single locking devices in positions inside the tank. This enables the volume of either the water compartment or the sludge compartment to be varied according to operational requirements. Tank with two chambers.

BOTTOM SUCTION AND EMPTYING CONNECTION

Inner shut‐off device DN 100 and second shut‐off device (ball‐cock with PTFE sealing), located at the lowest point of the rear door, with TW‐connection and cap hose coupling.

SUCTION HOSE CASSETTE WITH TELESCOPE‐HOSE BOOM DN125

Located on top of the tank is a cassette unit to accommodate the suction hose with a wall‐thickness of approx. 10 mm.

The suction hose is guided from the cassette over a hydraulically driven telescope hose boom with a maximum telescope‐stroke of 1.850 mm and which can be lifted up to maximum height of 4.600 mm above ground.

Therefore, the maximum reach to driver‐side of vehicle is approx. 4.600 mm and approx. 2.680 mm to co‐driver side, measured from center line of tank.

The telescope boom / suction hose respectively swivels either together or separately with the high‐ pressure hose reel / hose. Slewing angle 180°.

Adjustment of depth of suction hose is affected via a chain driven carriage travelling over full length of cassette. This drive mechanism for the suction hose is much superior to a drive mechanism with friction‐ rollers, especially as hoses are wet.

Further wear on hoses is remarkably lower.

The cassette reaches well over the driver cabin and contains maximum hose length for a reach of up to

10 m depth.

For tilting the cabin, the cassette is lifted by a pneumatic lifting cylinder.

Connection of suction hose to in let in tank designed as DN150 corner valve with quick‐acting side‐plate for easy excess in case of a blockage. Corner valve is wear & tear protected by rubber plate inside. When travelling from site to site the metal end piece of the suction hose is safely stored in a holding‐device at end of the body

CABLE CONTROL:

With spring‐return mechanism and min. 15 m cable and spring hook at the end of the cable. Mounted at the boom.

DRAIN PIPE DN 80

In the rear door with drain valve in every position, drain pipe up to 100 mm diameter, to drain sludge water via the suction hose boom.
