About this file

This document is an Amendment (Amendment 0001) to Solicitation W912P824B0013 for the Southwest Pass Hopper Dredge Contract No. 3-2024. The amendment modifies multiple sections of the original solicitation, including instructions to bidders, safety requirements, and contract timelines. Key changes include updating the EM 385-1-1 safety standards to the 15 March 2024 version, revising bid submission and contract award dates to 1 May 2025, and modifying various timeframes for contract activities.

The solicitation seeks a fully crewed and equipped self-propelled trailing suction hopper dredge for work in the Mississippi River Southwest Pass and potentially other areas of the New Orleans, Galveston, and Mobile Districts. The project is valued between $10-$25 million. Bids are due on Tuesday, April 15, 2025, at 10:30 AM CST, with bid opening at 11:30 AM CST. Bidders must submit bids either electronically via email or through physical submission, but not both. An audio teleconference bid opening will be conducted via Microsoft Teams, with connection details provided in the amendment.
