About this file
This document includes an amendment to a solicitation and a mitigation purchase agreement between a mitigation bank sponsor and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. The solicitation amendment reduces the required average annual habitat credits from 343 to 293 to compensate for unavoidable impacts to coastal zone bottomland hardwood habitat from construction of the West Shore Lake Pontchartrain Project in Louisiana. The agreement obligates the sponsor to provide the required 293 credits by mitigating a specified number of bottomland hardwood acres in accordance with regulatory requirements, and obligates the Corps to pay the sponsor $XXX upon receipt of the credits to fulfill its mitigation responsibilities for the construction project.
