NOTES:
(1) Prospective offerors are encouraged to examine the vessel prior to submitting an offer. Specific dates for examining the vessel will be scheduled by Frederick Espy II, Marine Management Section, (504)862-2739.
Failure to examine the vessel before submitting an offer will not be considered cause for a claim against the Government.
(2) Award will be made as a whole to one offeror.
(3) The offer is required to bid on all line items. Failure to submit an offer on all such line items shall result in a nonresponsive offer, requiring rejection thereof. In the event that an offeror is willing to waive costs associated with an individual line item, he is required to insert descriptive words or abbreviations such as "no charge" or "N.C."
(4) Offerors shall furnish unit cost for all prices listed on schedule of bid items which require unit prices. If the offeror fails to insert a unit price in the appropriate blank for required items but does furnish an extended total or an estimated amount for such items, the Government will deem his unit price to be the quotient obtained by dividing the extended estimated amount for that line item by the quantity. IF THE OFFEROR OMITS
BOTH THE UNIT PRICE AND THE EXTENDED ESTIMATED AMOUNT FOR ANY REQUIRED
ITEM, HIS BID WILL BE DECLARED NON-RESPONSIVE.
