About this file

This document contains a request for information responses and details of a related federal contract opportunity for ecosystem restoration work. The opportunity involves restoring stream and floodplain habitat along approximately one mile of Dry Creek in Sonoma County, California. Habitat restoration features will include constructing side channels, riffles, backwaters and alcoves using natural materials to slow water flow and provide refuge for young fish. Bank stabilization will prevent erosion and provide vegetation cover. Most work will occur on privately owned vineyard land. Interested parties must attend an organized site visit on April 20th with a limit of two personnel per contractor. Responses are requested to clarify the engineer's estimate and provide password access to related drawings. Attendance at the site visit is encouraged but not mandatory. The agency is the Department of the Army Corps of Engineers Engineering District San Francisco.
