SUMMARY OF CHANGES
B. CONTRACTOR’S INQUIRIES: By this Amendment, the Chicago District, USACE provides its responses to Contractor’s inquiries (SEE THE FOLLOWING).
Question 1: Are you looking for the Axis NVR recorder or a 3rd party system?
USACE Response Q1: It does not have to be an Axis NVR it can be a third party system if it meets the specs in the scope. Whichever NVR is picked will need to be FIPS 140-2 level 3 compliant.
Question 2: Do you have a model number of the cameras that you are looking to purchase?
USACE Response Q2: The model number for the cameras is WV-S8543L.
Question 3: The requirement for "multi-sensor cameras" typically suggests that the cameras should be equipped with multiple image sensors to capture various angles or views simultaneously. The mention of a "2MP 21x PTZ" (Pan- Tilt-Zoom) could refer to a separate camera, specifically a 2-megapixel camera with 21x optical zoom and PTZ capabilities, or it could imply that this feature should be integrated into the required multi-sensor cameras. Is this interpretation correct?
USACE Response Q3: The interpretation is correct, the feature should be integrated into the required multi-sensor cameras, it is not separate cameras it is part of the multi-sensor camera.
Question 4: If the system doesn't meet the minimum requirements, would the next best or slightly better substitute be acceptable?
USACE Response Q4: This would depend on which part of the minimum requirements it does not match. We would need to know which requirement it does not meet.
Question 5: Can shipping charges and taxes be included in the quotation as well?
USACE Response Q5: Shipping charges yes, taxes no as we are exempt. The tax exemption form can be found the state’s website.
Question 6: What are the payment terms?
USACE Response Q6: The payment terms are within 30 days from receipt of invoice upon completion of the work.
