About this file

This amendment modifies an invitation for bid for dredging services at Green Bay Harbor in Wisconsin. The Army Corps of Engineers, Chicago District, seeks to dredge up to 200,000 cubic yards of material from the harbor and place it either in the nearshore littoral zone or a designated beach cell. The contract value is estimated between $5-10 million. The solicitation is restricted to HUBZone small businesses with a dredging NAICS code and size standard of 237990 and $30 million. The response due date is extended to June 22, 2021 by 3:30pm Central time and submitted via email. Liquidated damages of $1,699.48 per day will be assessed for work not completed by December 31 for dredging and May 31 for road repairs. The amendment provides responses to contractor questions and corrects errors in option item group numbering and liquidated damages language.

Is MS Project sufficient to compose the project schedule? If not, please advise which scheduling program is preferred.

USACE Answer 1:

The Contractor may use their desired project schedule software so long as it meets FAR requirements and those set forth in 01 10 00, General Provisions. However, it is highly recommended a scheduling software is used with the capability to create an “.xer” file is used (such as primavera 6) so that it may be imported into RMS 3.0, otherwise the schedule will need to be manually entered.
