About this file
This document is a Memorandum for Record regarding the justification to limit competition for the procurement of semi-annual preventative maintenance services for two Hanel Lean-Lift Storage Systems located at the Corpus Christi Army Depot.
The requirement is for a follow-on contract to provide the necessary maintenance services, which are only available from the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), Hanel Storage Systems, through their distributor Minor Corporation. Minor Corporation is the sole qualified source due to their technical knowledge and access to proprietary engineering data required to service the entire Hanel Lift System. The anticipated contract type is Fixed Price, with a period of performance in Fiscal Year 2024. The total estimated value is not provided. Market research was conducted, but no other capable sources were identified. A brand name justification is required as this is a sole source procurement.
