About this file
This document is an amendment to a solicitation for fire retardant coverall services. The amendment extends the response due date from March 8th to March 18th at 1:00 PM. The solicitation is for approximately 270 fire retardant coveralls to be provided on a weekly basis for one base year and two option years by the Department of the Army Materiel Command Contracting Command Redstone Arsenal. Acceptable brands include TECASAFE PLUS 700 or others that meet the salient characteristics of 7.0 osy construction, ASTM certifications for flame resistance and arc flash rating, and NFPA certifications for flash fire protection and electrical hazards protection. The coveralls must be blue with embroidered logos for the Corpus Christi Army Depot. Pricing is to be included for the coveralls and embroidery. No additional local preferences will be given. The amendment provides clarification that equivalent brands and fabrics meeting specifications are acceptable and responses are not limited to exceeding specifications.
