About this file
This document contains questions and answers regarding Solicitation Number W912NR23R0048 from the Department of the Army National Guard for welded wire galvanized coated steel mesh cages to be delivered to armories in Los Angeles within 90 days of award. The solicitation seeks quotes for 30 cages measuring 3 feet and 21 cages measuring an unspecified size, to be assembled on site. While a 2-inch square 10-gauge or 2-inch 6-gauge welded wire option was proposed, the needs statement specifies 4-gauge wire. No budget, photos of the required cages, or special delivery instructions were provided. Cost is the most important factor as this is a lowest price technically acceptable procurement.

Text version
What is the difference between the two types of the cage, I see the details are the same for QTY 30 and QTY 21? The delivery address is the only difference. See attached needs statement.
Do you have any reference photos for the cages? Where will you use it? No photos, these will go in armories in LA (at the referenced delivery address).
What is the actual date that the cages need to be installed? Within 90 days of receipt of award
Are there any special delivery instructions for the cages at the referenced addresses? No special instructions
At the referenced delivery addresses, is there large enough door spaces to transport assembled 3 foot cages? The cages will need to be assembled in the area where they will be placed.
What is the budget for this project/Notice ID? No budget will be provided.
It looks like there is an urgent timeline to having the welded wire galvanized coated steel mesh cages built. Is there a definitive timeline, because what is on the statement of work / Needs Statement(s) is showing expired dates for when these are needed? No urgent timeline, the Solicitation is updated to have the delivery within 90 days of receipt of award
Is an urgent build time more important to the government, or is cost more important? This is LPTA, there is no trade-off.
For this Project too, we can offer a 2” square 10-gauge welded wire, but we can also offer 2” 6-gauge welded wire. Would either of these work for you? Please note the needs statement is 4 gauge.
