Section SF 1449 - CONTINUATION SHEET
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
The South Dakota Army National Guard along with the Recruitment and Retention Battalion has a requirement for T-shirts. The award will be for a Firm Fixed Price for approximately 8,000 t-shirts. The period of performance will be one base year and four option years. The government is not obligated to exercise any option year. The decision to exercise will be based off of the government needs and what is in the best interest of the government.
This solicitation in no way obligates the Government to award a contract, nor does it commit the Government to pay any cost incurred in the preparation and submission of the proposal. Furthermore, the Government reserves the right to reject any and all offers not meeting the minimum requirements if such action is considered to be in the best interest of the Government.
Descriptions, and reference information provided for the requested t-shirt is provided to identify a desired standard of performance and quality. A standard level of quality would be comparable to the T-shirt specifications listed below. This reference shall not be construed as limiting competition. Vendor must specify what brand of t-shirt is being quoted and provide a sample. If the sample needs to be returned the vendor must provide a returning box/envelope/pak plus the included pre-paid postage label.
T-SHIRT SPECIFICATIONS
Item: White and color preshrunk mixture of cotton and polyester (example: 50-50 cotton/polyester blend) T-shirts with one color print logo on back (back logo will always be the same) and up to a 4 color print logo on front, based on school logos. The school logos will not be available until after the award. Our graphic designer will provide artwork/logo on front of shirt in quantities of 25 to 250 based on needs of school. Artwork will be emailed in a suitable format such as an .eps or pdf file. For quotation purposes only, the vendor should estimate 100 different schools. However, the Government reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of schools based on its needs.
There is not a weight or a brand preference.
Sample Colors: Provide a website or hard copy pamphlet showing the available t-shirt colors and ink colors.
Sample T-shirts: A white OR colored sample t-shirt is required with your quotation. The sample t-shirt must contain a minimum of 4 colors on the logo. The logo does NOT have to be the South Dakota National Guard logo.
It can be any 4 color logo of your choice, this is to determine the quality of the product you are quoting. If the sample needs to be returned the vendor must provide a returning box/envelope/pak plus the included pre-paid postage label.
Price Quotes: Approximate quantities for base year and each option year is 8,000 total t-shirts (estimate of 5,000 color and 3,000 white). Orders will be placed throughout the year in various quantities and sizes.
Estimated Sizes for orders: The Government reserves the right to order any size/color and may not line up to these exact percentages.
White shirts S-XL: 45% Color shirts S-XL: 46% White shirts XXL: 4% Color shirts XXL: 5%
Pricing is to be FOB destination. Include shipping in the price of the item or items you are quoting. If you fail to include shipping cost in the item cost your quote may be determined nonresponsive.
