VAARNG RRB Outdoor Adverting Questions from Industry
W912LQ-22-Q-0022
1. “if you had a minimum number of billboards that you were looking to utilize for this campaign.
Also are digital roadside billboards ok for this assignment.”
-15 billboards.
-Roadside billboards are great.
2. Once awarded, when would the work need to be presented?
-30 days
3. Is there a total number of billboards you are looking for? And is there a specific number for each of the markets.
-15 and just as long as they are in accordance, or as close to mathematically, with the PWS and QASP.
4. As it pertains to the technical proposal that specifies that we “Provide no more than 5 type pages regarding product and installation information which addresses minimum specifications identified in the solicitation document”, I ask if you’d just like location information or, as we typically provide maps, location descriptions and photos… I specifically ask because with 70% major markets (Richmond, Roanoke, Norfolk, Virginia Beach metro areas and along the I-64 and I-95 corridor) and 30% minor markets (South Boston, South Hill, Farmville, Blackstone, Emporia, Gate City, Lexington, and the I-81 corridor). There would be significantly more than 5 pages needed to show pictures, location descriptions, etc.
a. I further ask, because you mentioned “including, but not limited to” in each market, but being that that PWS references the requirement of 70% major market coverage and 30% minor market coverage. If we simply include the minimum of the 8 locations desired (South Boston, South Hill, Farmville, Blackstone, Emporia, Gate City, Lexington, and the I-81 corridor) in the minor markets, we would be required to do at least 18-19 in the major markets (Richmond, Roanoke, Norfolk, Virginia Beach metro areas and along the I-64 and I-95 corridor). I apologize if this is too technical, but working with you and your counterparts now for a handful of years, I want to provide with exactly what you require and not waste money on unnecessary inventory.
- Please provide the maps locations and photos. Please provide no more than 10 documents.
5. We noticed you referenced that the “vendor will have work and reports completed prior to the below holidays to ensure maximum visibility of billboards during high traffic times of the year”, and therefore I wanted to confirm that you’d prefer to have boards up/during each of these holidays… I say that because as we schedule the dates of the boards, we’d need to take the timeframe of 3 periods in minor markets and 30 days in major markets into consideration so we can schedule an effective QC Plan that allows for those flights, around those dates.
- Yea we would like to have the billboards up during holidays.
