About this file

This is a Questions and Answers document for Iowa Medical Exams solicitations W912LP-26-Q-4003, 4005, and 4007. The document clarifies requirements for occupational health medical examination services across three Iowa locations: Waterloo, Des Moines & Boone, and Davenport.

Key clarifications include: lab draws must be performed as specified in section 5.7.2.1 of the Performance Work Statement with standard equipment for applicable testing; contractors must operate from a fixed facility (fixed clinic or hospital) rather than providing on-site services over a 1-3 day period, as fixed facilities are beneficial for follow-up appointments; all three contract locations have incumbents, with previous contract numbers W912LP25PA030 (Waterloo), W912LP25PA012 (Davenport), and W912LP25PA025 (Des Moines & Boone); and mid-level providers with occupational health knowledge are acceptable to perform all examinations, including dermatologic exams, with an amendment issued to the solicitation to clarify this requirement that previously stated physicians must perform dermatologic exams in the Boone/Des Moines PWS.
