LGBTQ Ad Solicitation W912LM-21-Q-0025

1. I am hoping to find out if there is an incumbent contractor currently performing these services, if similar services have been performed in the past, or if this is a new requirement. If this is a follow-on requirement, could you please provide the previous contract or task order number?

Answer: No this is not a new requirement. This was awarded previously with contract number W912LM-20-P-0011, it was awarded to Lavender Media Inc. in March 2020.

2. Which specific magazine for bi-weekly print/on-line magazine do we need to submit ½ page ads? Do we suggest a magazine, or have you identified the specific magazine?

Answer: Reference the PWS, there is no specific magazine, so long as the magazine the vendor chooses meets the requirements.

3. Is the pricing for this contract for just graphic design, or do we need to include the advertising cost with the magazine/Pride page directory/ Pride edition?

Answer: Please reference 52.212-2 in the Combined Synopsis and include all costs.

4. Will the agency cover the cost for the Twin Cities Pride booth space – do we only include our cost of labor/travel for those events.

Answer: Please include booth space cost, labor and travel.

5. Throughout the solicitation, it references "The Contractor" - our agency would handle all creative talent, art submission, billing, and ROI to the MN ANG in partnership with the magazine that would produce and distribute the final product. Are you accepting bids from small business advertising agencies that can fulfill the requirements between the MN ANG & the final publisher?

Answer: We would prefer to work directly with the final publisher.

6. The solicitation also reference "The Contractor" shall have physical presence in booth space at the Twin Cities PRIDE Festival and Parade in June or two micro-events in the month of June in the Twin Cities area. It really doesn't make sense for our agency as a contractor to have a booth, so can you please clarify if the MNANG would like a booth or if the magazine needs to have a booth? We purchased similar "booth space" for the Missouri ANG where we purchased the booth and MO ANG had their staff at the booth during the event. Is this what you are looking for?

Answer: The booth space will be also manned by MN ARNG recruiters.

7. The solicitation references print and digital marketing. Since the magazine has an online digital presence, is the MNANG also looking for additional online options such as a leaderboard or medium box, or only the digital version of the magazine?

Answer: Digital version of the magazine and all of the platform that the magazine uses.
