W912LC‐16‐T‐5007 Q&A

1. The tractor model we desire to submit can certainly have a Curtis aftermarket cab installed. We will be glad to do that. However, our tractor that meets specs can be ordered with a factory installed cab, that has heating, air‐conditioning, and is dust resistant. Would a factory installed Cab be acceptable?

Would it be acceptable to submit bid options for either a Curtis Cab or Factory installed cab?

Yes, a factory installed cab is certainly acceptable as long as it meets all requirements. Please keep in mind that the quoted tractor and cab combo should not exceed the size of the requested tractor as one of the primary functions of the tractor will be snow removal on sidewalks etc.

2. Would you provide the desired width of the Snow‐pusher blade with skid shoes?

‐ 5ft. Box snow pusher blade is what was spec'd when I did the research, but size needs to be determined by tractor horsepower rating rather than a specific plow size. The desired attributes are:

‐ Heavy duty construction ‐ Reversible rubber cutting edge 1"X6" ‐ Replaceable skid shoes ‐ Quick attach/detach hookup system

3. Does the Nat’l Guard want a bucket for the loader? We can quote it either with or without a loader bucket. If yes, please indicate desired bucket width.

Yes, we do want a front bucket.

‐ Heavy duty, thick gauge steel construction ‐ Weld on cutting edge as well as reversible bolt on cutting edge ‐ Quick attach/detach hookup system ‐ Size would be determined by tractor horsepower rating and matched accordingly. In general the bucket should be anywhere from 48‐60 inches in width and be able to handle/carry a load of up to approximately 1,200lbs.
