Solicitation W912LC-15-T-0167 Questions and Answers
1) Regarding the ballistic desk panels, do you need them to be upholstered and tackable with mounts, or do you just need the cores to be painted brown, with no additional hardware?
Answer: The cores painted brown, with no additional hardware
2) Regarding the electronic door locks, I was confused requirement number 5, which reads:
"Proxy card reader panels and control modules for integration into existing CONG proxy-card based system"
Answer: The CONG proxy-card based system is an Adover Continuum Cyber Station installed by Schneider Electric.
What does the "CONG" stand for? What system is that?
Answer: Colorado National Guard
3) I didn't see any drawings so it's hard for us to get an idea of what you're looking for. I know this industry pretty well and if I knew who you based your designs on I could get a better idea of what you need.
Answer: The partitions need to be freestanding partitions on wheels to block gunfire from penetrating through the windows or through the door. The partitions will be placed behind the windows with another partition staggered behind the window partitions and in front of the door.
The desktop panels will be cut down to size by the purchaser to mount to the front and sides of desks.
4) Quick question, Is the solicitation requiring all or nothing bid for the line items? We want to bid on some items but we do not provide the doors.
Answer: The solicitation requires a quote for all line items. The proxy card electronic door lock is part of the solicitation and requires the vendor to install the locks at multiple locations.
