QUESTIONS

1. When you stack the individual Duffel Bag Lockers in stacks of 4 and 5, do you want them to bolt together so they don’t move?

Yes, if they are going to be individual lockers and not as one whole unit, they will need to be bolted together to create one fixed unit.

2. Do you want each individual stack to bolt together to the next stack?

Yes

3. Per the locker picture, it was shown with expanded metal. I will quote that unless you specify differently.

Not sure what that means. If it looks like the picture then I’m fine with it

4. What color do you want the lockers to be?

Grey

5. Per your drawing, are these lockers going into an existing room or do I need to a Wire Partition too?

ANSWER: Existing room (Its going into the exact same room the existing shelving was in)

6. If you require a secure wire partition we need to go over the dimensions.

ANSWER: Each cage is its own individual compartment to secure a soldiers issued gear

7. By base do they mean shelves between tiers or a base at bottom that lockers will sit on to get them off floor?

ANSWER: Bottom of each individual locker to hold more weight

8. By 6 gauge sides, can we do our 2" square #6 ga woven wire instead of expanded metal?

ANSWER: As long as the cage is able to support the 200 lb per cage limit and the height, width and depth requirements, gauge of material is irrelevant.

9. Do you want delivery and installation included in the bid?

ANSWER: YES, it’s a must

10. Do you want us to include removal and disposal of existing shelving?

ANSWER: Yes, it’s a must

11. Do you require a concept or approval drawing with the bid or quote?

ANSWER: Yes. It would be helpful.

‐ If not, when are approval drawings due?

ANSWER: Drawings are due with the bid packet

12. What color should they be coated?

ANSWER: Grey

13. Do the locker units need to be fastened to the floor, wall, or each other?

ANSWER: Each other and one attachment point to wall or ceiling to prevent tipping

14. Do the doors need to be secured with padlock or key?

ANSWER: Padlock
