STATEMENT OF WORK
Replacement of Dishwashing Machine w/Conveyor System, Garbage Disposal, Pre-Rinse Faucet Assembly and Dish Storage Racks
1. SCOPE: The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and quality control necessary to perform installation of Champion Systems Dish Washing System, Conveyor System, Garbage Disposal, Pre-Rinse Faucet Assembly, and Wire Shelving.
2. PROJECT BACKGROUND: The installation of the requested Champion Systems Dish Washing System, conveyor system, garbage disposal, pre-rinse faucet assembly and wire shelving will be within the 118th Dining Facility located in Bldg 803 at, 240 Knapp Blvd, Nashville TN, 37217. We have requested the purchase of one, Champion Systems Dish Washing System w/ Conveyor to replace the current dish washing system that has potential of poor sanitation of Food Services items in the Dining Facility. This new system will be placed in the location of the current system. The new conveyor system will replace circle system including a new pre-rinse faucet assembly. The new garbage disposal will be replaced within existing scrap line. We are also installing new storage racks for dish storage.
3. PROJECT OBJECTIVE: Provide, remove and replace one dish washing system including additional items in accordance with the specification outlined, at the target amount. The unit will need to be delivered and assemble at the designated location within the specified timeline. Dish storage shelves will need to be installed with plans listed.
4. SCOPE OF THE WORK: Once the contract has been awarded for the requested equipment, the dish unit and shelving unit will need to be delivered and installed within 60 days of contract delivery. The unit will need to be delivered by the vendor onto the 118th WG military installation (address listed above) and offloaded at building 803 by the designated vendor delivery personnel. The delivery team will need to move all required parts and pieces into the lower level of building 803 (Dining Facility). The old unit will be disposed by the contractor. The new equipment will be installed where needed for complete installation and operation in location identified with new conveyor layout in the shape of a U. Garbage disposal and pre-rinse faucet assembly will be installed with washing machine unit. Installation will include installation of dish storage racks on wall opposite side of new dish washing machine. Shelves will be unpacked, constructed, and tested with dishes. While installing, the installation team will remove the existing dish washing system and conveyor system; however, they will leave in place the conveyor that wraps along the wall including the scrap line. The existing equipment will need to be taken apart and disposed by contractor. They will uncrate and install all new equipment and connect the new dish washing system to utilities and ensure it is operating to OEM specifications. The installation team will haul away all shipping containers and any items identified by onsite personnel and will ensure job site is cleaned. Once all equipment is replaced, vender will start all units and check for proper operation of each unit.
5. APPLICATION OF RESULTS: All actions and decisions regarding any variations to the actions required and outlined in the scope of work for this project, must be coordinated with the 118th WG project POC.
6. ESTIMATED LEVEL OF EFFORT: The level of effort required for this project is minimal and falls within average expectations for a standard equipment delivery process.
7. PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: The purchased items need to be delivered and installed within 60 days of contract delivery.
8. GOVERNMENT FURNISHED DATA OR EQUIPMENT: There is standard facility power available ~110- 120 VAC 60HZ, adequate lighting, water utilities and restroom facilities. No other equipment or utilities are available.
9. IN-PROCESS REVIEW (IPR): Once the dish washing system and extra components have been installed it will be tested by the installation team with local assistance to ensure complete function and operability. The unit must function and operate as prescribed in order to consider installation as complete. Training will be conducted with government rep to cover safety, operation, chemical supplies, and yearly maintenance.
10. DELIVERABLES: No deliverables are required before the day of delivery.
