Apron Site Visit 17 January 2018 @ 10:00 AM Questions (Q) and Answers (A)
1. Q - Bids are due on the 24th, but what happens if the funding occurs in 6 months and more damage occurs from the previous site visit?
A - See Page 1 Block 13d, Offers providing less than ___80___ calendar days for Government acceptance after the date offers are due will not be considered and will be rejected.
2. Q - Different map showing area T06A.
A – No
3. Q - Is this a onetime Funding?
A –Yes
4. Q - Where do we send our bids to?
A - https://www.fbo.gov/
5. Q - Seeing that the contractors are going to be required to fill out payroll Forms, could you please provide the wage rates requirements for this project A – See attached Wage Determination
6. Q - Would the owner be able to add a bid line item for mobilization? Without a Separate bid line item for mobilization the contractors will have to spread the mobilization cost over all 15 bid items. There is a concern of not having enough money funded to do all 15 items. So if the owner decides to delete certain line items there goes the mobilization. What I am trying to say is our mobilization cost is going to be the same amount weather the owner awards 5, 10, or all 15 bid items. It is a fair way of addressing the problem.
A - Yes, the owner can add a bid line item for mobilization.
7. Q - Would it be possible that all the bidders are provided with quantities for each CLIN such as LF of crack repairs, SF of spall repairs, SY of Mill and Overlay, ETC...?
A – No, site visit was held for each attendee to take measurements
