Question 1. For the mobile operatories, is it permissible to use a small modular building, under 50ft in length, like a mobile home, mobile but not on wheels?

Answer 1. Yes, it is ok to use a modular building for treatment. Other contractors in the past have done so.

Question 2. Would it be possible to leave the mobile operatories (either a modular building or RV-type vehicle) on-site at the Salem ARC, for the duration of the contract. This is to avoid moving and set-up during the contract period.

Answer 2. As far as parking it for a period of time, we will need to get permission from 1249 EN as the Motor Pool is their area. Approval is possible, but we won't know with certainty before the proposal due date.

Question 3. How does vendor get access to DENCLASS and will Oregon National Guard sponsor or give assistance in gaining access?

Answer 3. Contractor must have computers and access to internet, such as through a wifi hot spot. The Government will not provide internet access. As for access to DENCLASS, that can be granted to them by Oregon Deputy State Surgeon or State Dental Officer simply by registering in the system.

Question 4. Do the dentists need to be state licensed in Oregon, or can they be licensed in any state?

Answer 4. Dentists performing work under this contract must be licensed in the State of Oregon.
