Sheet1
| Question | Answer |
| What size paper does the drawing need to be set to to make it to scale? | The sheets are set up for an “F” size page but always double check the 1/8"=1' scale against the scale bar on the bottom of the page so there are no errors. |
| At the site visit, we were told there would be additional bid items that we need to price, however, the proposal form in the solicitation only has three CLINS- building 141/142, building 151 windows, and contractor reporting. Will there be a revised solicitation or proposal form? Also, where on the proposal form do we need to put the “deductive carpet and vinyl cove base pricing?” | There will be five (5) items to bid (CLINs): Base bid for Building 151; Base bid for Bldg 141 &142; Additional Bid Item (ABI) #1 for Bldg 141 First Floor (listed by note #4 &5 on the first two pages; ABI #2 for Bldg 141 Second Floor (listed by note #4 on pages 4 &5; and ABI #3 for Building 142 (listed by Notes #4&5&6 on pages 5 &6). |
| At the site visit the question came up about furniture storage and who was responsible. | The statement of work lists in section 1:"The Contractor is responsible for relocated furniture within the space and providing drop clothes and other protective means to protect the office from construction debris and dust. The user will remove their personal items and items that can be removed from the wall such as pictures, plaques, etc" This sentence to be added "If furniture or other items must be removed out of the building by the contractor an appropriate container must be provided by the contractor". |
| The statement of work lists in section f- Patching and Painting. | Clarification-Many of the wall surfaces are block/brick/ or hard stucco. There are some drywall walls that should be approached in the same manner as the drywall ceiling of 141- "Drywall Repairs as necessary for a smooth finish" |
| Three drawings are being re-issued: Drawings 1,3,&5. These are the "paint" drawings. |
